$18,000 raised for Toys

We sure enjoyed playing a few hours of music before the auction began at Player’s Pub in Catalina last Saturday. This was the 23rd year for the Toy drive auction by the non-profit “Catalina Crusaders” and the brave men & women of the Golder Ranch Fire Department. Once we had cleared our gear away after playing, the auctioneer began the live auction with the Hold my Beer Band being the first item up for auction. I guess we were auditioning! We were won with a $550 final bid for a future gig at someone’s house or business. We can’t wait to find out!

Here’s some more information from the Player’s Pub Facebook page;

“Thank you Catalina and all of those who donated and participated in the 23rd Annual Players Pub and Golder Ranch Fire Department Toy Drive and Live Auction!

Because of you, we will be writing a check for $18,000 to Golder Ranch Fire to provide Christmas for so many kiddos! We also received a huge trailer load of toys!

Can’t wait to see the pictures of all the kids shopping with the firefighters 🩷
