What a weekend!

The Verde Valley never disappoints, especially when it comes to the music and dance crowd! The Spirit Room in Jerome was packed Friday night! Since we only play a 2-hour gig, we don’t take a break. We want to play as many tunes as possible in that time frame and the patrons & guests at the Spirit Room did not disappoint! We could feel the energy, and we responded by giving as much energy back as we could to that crowd!

The following Saturday afternoon we played at the 10-12 Lounge in Clarkdale Az. Clarkdale is about 9 miles down the hill from Jerome. This wonderful lounge is now for sale! At least that’s what we heard from a few of the locals. This gig is a 4-hour marathon, so we do take a few breaks! The 10-12 clientele are very music and dance oriented. That being said, there’s also a few large TV’s to broadcast sports, with the volume down while the band plays, of course! Oh yes, then there’s the outdoor patio where you can smoke, vape and visit while still listening to the band!

One of the best things about this last weekend was the fans and family from around this area and beyond, chose to visit and book a few nights in order to hang out with us. The party at the 10-12 Lounge continued long after Ron & Dave had left!
Rocky kept the tunes coming by DJ’ing via our PA and his cell phone. The bartender the following day expressed how grateful she was for a fun evening.

We will be traveling back to the Verde Valley next year, probably in May & October. We try to aim for the middle of each month, but we are going to shake it up a bit and plan the October trip around “Spook Weekend” in Jerome. This is going to be fun, and we hope you can plan your trip to include the Hold my Beer Band!

Cheers!
