DESCRIPTION:We’re headed north on our semi-annual road trip to Jerome & Clarkdale Az. We play Friday night at the world-famous Spirit Room in Jerome Az. Friday is typically an 8-10 pm show at the Spirit Room in Jerome. It took us a few appearances\, but we informed the young lady that books the entertainment at the Spirit Room that our age group typically doesn’t attend an 8 pm show. Now\, I know everyone may not be at the “senior citizen” scheduling moment\, but it has been proven that we get a better crowd if we begin earlier! \n\n\n\nIf you’ve never been to the Spirit Room in Jerome\, put it on your bucket list! Better yet\, put this date/time on your calendar and make the trek with us to the Spirit Womb!

DESCRIPTION:A few times a year we play a “Dance” party for a group of folks at Saddlebrooke at their event venue. In the same building you can find the Ranch House grill where you can find great food\, drink and sports. We were told that they have some live music under the gazebo at the event pavilion. We’re excited to play this property outdoors in this amazingly beautiful setting in the desert. What? You have never visited the Ranch House Grill & Brewery at Saddlebrook? DESCRIPTION:We had a great time playing at the Player’s Pub in Catalina Arizona on December 7 for their annual Christmas Toy Drive in conjunction with the Golder Ranch Fire Department.  Their efforts helped to raise $18\,000 towards the purchase of toys for children.  In addition to that\, there was a trailer that was filled to the brim with donations that have been received since October. \n\n\n\nWe were fortunate enough to be the first item up for auction to help raise funds for the Christmas shopping.  A lucky lady in Catalina won our performance and has contacted us with the date/time\, along with the “Top Secret Location”.  Well\, it’s not really top secret\, but I am sure a few familiar faces will show up on this Sunday evening post-valentine’s day performance!

DESCRIPTION:We’re on the road again\, this time north to Kearney!  We enjoy playing this great bar with an outdoor venue and stage\, not to mention the outdoor and indoor games and two pool tables.  Oh yes\, and big screen TV for sporting events.  Last year when we played the Firehouse\, there was a wedding and a state basketball championship game being played.  Needless to say\, the options for entertainment that evening were huge for the small community of Kearney.  We’ve been told by the folks who did attend last year that they will spread the word about the Hold my Beer Band!  I have no doubt we will all have a great time! SUMMARY:The Ore House Hilltop Tavern Halloween Party!
DESCRIPTION:It’s the Spooky month of October and we are only a few days from Halloween when we play the Ore House again on October 26th.  So\, they have decided that evening will be their official Halloween Party!  We don’t know many details as of yet\, but there will be a DJ and the Hold my Beer Band playing music and enjoying the party!  Pull out your favorite Halloween costume and let’s get the dance party started!  By now\, the temperatures should be cooler in the evening\, so whether we setup indoors or outdoors will truly depend on what mama nature has in store for us. If you do drop by the Ore House\, you may want to arrive a bit early because if we do setup indoors\, it can be like a human car wash getting around in that place! Arrive early\, have a bite to eat and your favorite beer\, wine or cocktail and get ready to do some dancing!

Trust us when we say the Spirit Room doesn’t feature a lot of Country music. We always enjoy the trip via the mogollon rim which totally negates the I-17 freeway north. We feel fortunate to have such a dedicated fan-base as well as an awesome venue with great pub food allowing us to whip up the crowd each month.  If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit the Ore House in Oracle\, now is as good a time as any!  It’s the end of September\, so we’re pretty sure we will be playing outside. DESCRIPTION:We have met so many people while playing for the last 2.5 years.  One of these ladies is having a birthday party!  Funny enough\, she attended a birthday party that we were hired for at Porter’s Saloon in Superior!  She calls herself the crazy dancing lady\, but really\, she’s just crazy about dancing.  We are learning a few waltzes as well as some other new material and we’re really looking forward to playing yet another birthday party!  The American Legion is typically members only\, but this young lady is persistent and convinced them to allow her to not only host her birthday party there but open the party up to the public.  Bring your dancing shoes and dance the afternoon away! \n\n\n\nThe American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization. Focusing on service to veterans\, servicemembers and communities\, the Legion evolved from a group of war-weary veterans of World War I into one of the most influential nonprofit groups in the United States. Membership swiftly grew to over 1 million\, and local posts sprang up across the country. Today\, membership stands at over 2.4 million in 14\,000 posts worldwide. The posts are organized into 55 departments: one each for the 50 states\, along with the District of Columbia\, Puerto Rico\, France\, Mexico and the Philippines.

DESCRIPTION:We were invited back to the Hideaway and we’re beyond excited!  One of our super-fans moved to Globe from Oracle Az a few months ago and suggested to the owner of the Hideaway to check out the Hold my Beer Band.  If you’re in the area of Globe or Roosevelt Lake\, drop on by and give us a listen.  Enjoy an appetizer or meal with your favorite drink.  We start early at the Hideaway\, because we’re OLD!  But seriously folks\, we will be playing from 6 – 10 pm on Friday\, August 9th.  Here’s some directions from Globe;Head North on Hwy 188 and stay in the right lane for about 5 miles or so.  That right lane will become a “Turn Only” lane.  Turn right as the lane ends and drive approximately a mile or 2 where you will see the Hideaway\, hidden away on your right.  We hope to see you there!
