SUMMARY:Spirit Room in Jerome AZ - Friday the 13th!
DESCRIPTION:We are beyond excited to return to the legendary Spirit Room stage in Jerome Arizona.  We played there in May of this year and are heading back to the haunted Jerome Az.  Our keyboard player lived in Jerome with his partner Carla for almost 17 years.  It sure helps to know a few venues that used to hire Ron’s former band\, “Mountain Stranded Time”. \n\n\n\nWhat makes this particular month so much fun is the number of visitors that make the trek to Jerome in order to explore or experience a haunted tour.  The Jerome Grand Hotel has probably the best reputation of a haunted spot\, but there are many in this small town once known as the “Wickedest Town in the West”! \n\n\n\nIf you’ve never been to Jerome in October\, you are in for a treat.  Expect some packed roads and a lot of people gearing up for the Annual Fireman’s Halloween Dance.   \n\n\n\nWe hope to see you there!

There will be a couple of cornhole sets for you to enjoy— all under the oaks at El Rancho Robles\, historic guest ranch in Oracle\, AZ. You can BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage)\, INCLUDING ALCOHOL. Peachwave froyo & gelato will be on site.  There will also be vendors\, including some local artists. \n\n\n\nThe event will be held at the gorgeous Hacienda/Ceremony sprawling green lawn. DESCRIPTION:With monsoon season a bit off and on this year\, we usualy don’t know whether we will be playing out on the outdoor stage or whether we will have to setup with the protection of the covered outdoor portion of the “Beer Garden” area.  We’re hoping for a clear day with some lower temperatures\, but you just never know.   \n\n\n\nNormally we play each last Saturday of the month at the Ore House Hilltop Tavern\, but for the second time in 2023\, a month contains 5 Saturdays!  Well\, September 30th is the date we are booked\, on the fifth Saturday\, as well as the last Saturday of September 2023. \n\n\n\nI know they will have some great entertainment lined up for you on the 4th Saturday in September at the Ore House Hilltop Tavern. DESCRIPTION:The Annual Blessed Sacrament Catholic Parish in Mammoth Arizona announced their Fiesta where the entire family can enjoy games\, food\, beverages\, live music and dancing.  This fun\, family style event helps to raise monies for the Catholic Parish in Mammoth.  We were fortunate to be asked to play one of our first gigs as a trio\, after forming several months prior.  What an enjoyable time where the sound of laughter\, hearty conversation and music can be heard all across town.  We hope to see you at the Fiesta.  Bring your appetites and some funds to purchase food & drink while being serenaded all day.  We kick things off at 4 in the afternoon.  The Fiesta will keep things moving with a DJ for the rest of the evening.  These folks are serious about their Fiesta as it will continue until Midnight!  We hope to see you there!

DESCRIPTION:Players Pub and Sports Bar is the last bar on the right as you’re driving through the north end of this scenic town in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains.  Ruthie is the owner of Players Pub and has been hosting folks\, events\, fundraisers and music for 3 decades!  Primarily a sports bar\, there are plentiful tv’s\, bar food munchies\, a pool table dart game and pinball.  This is a neighborhood bar that has a distinctly older crowd during the day\, and a younger crowd in the evenings.  Sounds like most bars we play at! \n\n\n\nWe will be setup out on their patio area\, behind the bar.  There are lights\, tables and an area to dance in. DESCRIPTION:We are looking forward to playing at the 10-12 Lounge in Clarkdale Arizona.  Don’t know where Clarkdale is?  Well\, you need to find out!  So many amazing things to do in this area of the Verde Valley\, helpful links below. \n\n\n\nThe 10-12 Lounge is one of the nicest spots in the Verde Valley.  It sports a stage and dance floor as well as being wonderfully furnished.  Don’t forget there’s a few tv’s to keep the sports fanatic entertained.  Although\, we insist that the sound is turned down while we play.  We will be playing from 2 to 6 pm.  There’s a restaurant right next door.  You can actually order right from the bar and pay for the food and your tab all in one!  Great food\, live music\, wonderful folks in a very nice setting in downtown Clarkdale Arizona.  Speaking of last train to Clarkdale . . . no wait\, was that Clarksville?  Anyway\, if you’re looking for a great train ride and wonderful scenery\, we highly recommend the Verde Canyon Railroad.  What?  You like to hike?  The perfect hike is not far away in Sycamore Canyon Wilderness area.  It may be a little toasty in the high desert in May\, but when you descend into this canyon\, you will be rewarded with a 10 degree drop and running water.  Wonderfully tall sycamore trees grace this trail.  Wear some water friendly foot attire as you will be crossing the creek a number of times along the way.  There’s a wonderful museum called the Arizona Copper Art Museum\, about 1/2 block from the 10-12 Lounge!  Want more ideas?  How about Tuzigoot National Monument? DESCRIPTION:We pleased to be asked back to the Ore House in Oracle!  We will be appearing there on the last Saturday in January\, on the 28th.
