DESCRIPTION:We’re on the road again\, this time north to Kearney!  We enjoy playing this great bar with an outdoor venue and stage\, not to mention the outdoor and indoor games and two pool tables.  Oh yes\, and big screen TV for sporting events.  Last year when we played the Firehouse\, there was a wedding and a state basketball championship game being played.  Needless to say\, the options for entertainment that evening were huge for the small community of Kearney.  We’ve been told by the folks who did attend last year that they will spread the word about the Hold my Beer Band!  I have no doubt we will all have a great time! DESCRIPTION:We had a great time playing at the Player’s Pub in Catalina Arizona on December 7 for their annual Christmas Toy Drive in conjunction with the Golder Ranch Fire Department.  Their efforts helped to raise $18\,000 towards the purchase of toys for children.  In addition to that\, there was a trailer that was filled to the brim with donations that have been received since October. \n\n\n\nWe were fortunate enough to be the first item up for auction to help raise funds for the Christmas shopping.  A lucky lady in Catalina won our performance and has contacted us with the date/time\, along with the “Top Secret Location”.  Well\, it’s not really top secret\, but I am sure a few familiar faces will show up on this Sunday evening post-valentine’s day performance!

DESCRIPTION:We’re headed north on our semi-annual road trip to Jerome & Clarkdale Az. We play Friday night at the world-famous Spirit Room in Jerome Az. It took us a few appearances\, but we informed the young lady that books the entertainment at the Spirit Room that our age group typically doesn’t attend an 8 pm show. Now\, I know everyone may not be at the “senior citizen” scheduling moment\, but it has been proven that we get a better crowd if we begin earlier! \n\n\n\nIf you’ve never been to the Spirit Room in Jerome\, put it on your bucket list! If you’ve never visited\, it may help to use your GPS or mapping app.  That being said\, the crowd at the Firehouse really appreciate their music and enjoy dancing and having a good time.  It’s the perfect venue for us! \n\n\n\nThere is a large outdoor area with a covered patio with a pass through for the bartender.  Just mosey up and order your cocktail or beer.  Heck\, maybe a shot!  This patio also serves as a stage for the musicians.  It’s always great having shade in May in Arizona!

DESCRIPTION:We always enjoy our standing gig at the Ore House Hilltop Tavern in Oracle!  It is always scheduled for the last Saturday of every month for almost two years now!  Our success is due in large part to the Ore House as we have been hired for private parties and other taverns in Arizona by being heard “one the last Saturday of every month”! \nIt’s always a good idea to try and show up a bit early\, order yourself a beverage and maybe some tasty tavern treats.  That way\, you can secure a great table! \nSummer is just around the corner\, so evenings are beautiful during springtime.  There are plenty of places to sit outdoors as well as tables for you and your family or guests. \nWe hope to see you there!

DESCRIPTION:Every last Saturday of the month we have a standing gig at the Ore House in Oracle.  This unique bar is an old ranch house that was towed to the top of the hill\, back in the day.  It was actually built in Ray Arizona!  There are some nice touches at the Ore House with a lot of wood features\, a stone fireplace and old mining gear displayed here and there.  This time of year\, unless it’s raining\, we are playing outdoors.  Fortunately for all of us\, once that sun sets\, it doesn’t take long for the night air to cool that summer temperature.  Arrive early\, order yourself an appetizer and your favorite beverage and get ready to dance the night away the the Hold my Beer Band!
