It is time to return home for “Rustic Roots and Cowboy Boots.”  The Copper Basin Chamber of Commerce and their partners are bringing back all of your favorite events. \nThe Chamber of Commerce began the festivities this year with a competition. They asked members of the community to submit their ideas for this year’s theme. The winning theme “Rustic Roots and Cowboy Boots” was submitted by Kearny resident Melissa Day. When asked about how she came up with the theme\, Melissa said\, “Being local\, I knew that our Pioneer Days is about our cowboy roots\, even though the holiday is celebrated in other states as a different tradition. Ours is more of a cowboy theme versus Pioneer\, so I thought of the play on words that way. Rustic Roots & Cowboy Boots. Couldn’t be truer for Kearny\, and it’s catchy!” \nWe agree that it’s the perfect theme to represent the Copper Basin Area. \nOther original events such as the Queens Competition\, Roping Tournament\, Softball Tournament and Parade are scheduled this year! A carnival\, provided by Brown’s Entertainment\, will be hosted as well over the four-day event\, in traditional fashion.” \nWe will be playing early on Saturday\, April 18th\, beginning at 1 pm.  There will be a second band\, Highway 260 beginning at 7 pm to keep the music coming at you! \nThere should be more information regarding this event\, soon on the Kearny Chamber of Commerce website.

There will be many auction items to look over as we play some tunes and get you ready to spend some money in order to purchase toys for the kids. DESCRIPTION:The Mountain Vista K-8 100th Day Celebration is in need of some community help and Teddy Macoluso is helping by organizing a Cornhole Tournament with All Proceeds going towards the Mountain Vista K-8 100th Day Celebration.  We should let you know that this fund-raising event is NOT being Sponsored by the Mountain Vista K-9 100th Day Celebration\, this is a joint effort in raising funds to help. \n\n\n\nThere is a $40 entry fee to participate in the tournament.  There is no entry fee to join us\, support your favorite bag-tosser and listen to the music of the “Hold my Beer Band”.  They will be providing the tunes from Noon to three with Rocky Martinez spinning digital tunes as well.  What a great cause to support! \n\n\n\nWe are looking forward to seeing you there!

DESCRIPTION:The Annual Blessed Sacrament Catholic Parish in Mammoth Arizona announced their Fiesta where the entire family can enjoy games\, food\, beverages\, live music and dancing.  This fun\, family style event helps to raise monies for the Catholic Parish in Mammoth.  We were fortunate to be asked to play one of our first gigs as a trio\, after forming several months prior.  What an enjoyable time where the sound of laughter\, hearty conversation and music can be heard all across town.  We hope to see you at the Fiesta.  Bring your appetites and some funds to purchase food & drink while being serenaded all day.  We kick things off at 4 in the afternoon.  The Fiesta will keep things moving with a DJ for the rest of the evening.  These folks are serious about their Fiesta as it will continue until Midnight!  We hope to see you there!

DESCRIPTION:The Oracle Music Festival is hosted by Rancho Robles and benefits OWN Oracle\, the Oracle Women’s Network.  The Hold my Beer Band begins playing at 6 pm\, but we urge you to show up early and help to make this event a success!  Your $20 event ticket includes a hotdog or hamburger and non-alcoholic beverages.  Kids 10 & under – $10.  Kids 3 and under – FREE admission\, (no food). \n\n\n\nEnjoy the Beer Garden and make sure you bring your own chairs!
