DESCRIPTION:The first leg of our Northern Arizona road-trip is the world-famous stage at the Spirit Room in Jerome Az. We’re just a four-piece band\, but the stage is not too deep but long. Anyway\, the reason we bring this lesser-known factoid is that most bands don’t know of the small extension that is built into the stage. It’s actually a brilliant idea and is housed in the front of the stage via a panel. Once pulled out on handy wheels\, you notice 10 threaded pipes with the underside of the extension housing the receptacles that the threaded pipes are screwed in to. Once that is done\, flip it over and you have an extension to enlarge the shallow depth of the stage. \nCome see us at the Spirit Room in Jerome! The local audience from Jerome and tourists all tend to agree that the Hold my Beer Band enjoys playing tunes you may have not heard in a while! Interested? Make plans now!

DESCRIPTION:Every last Saturday of the month we have a standing gig at the Ore House in Oracle.  This unique bar is an old ranch house that was towed to the top of the hill\, back in the day.  It was actually built in Ray Arizona!  There are some nice touches at the Ore House with a lot of wood features\, a stone fireplace and old mining gear displayed here and there.  This time of year\, unless it’s raining\, we are playing outdoors.  Fortunately for all of us\, once that sun sets\, it doesn’t take long for the night air to cool that summer temperature.  Arrive early\, order yourself an appetizer and your favorite beverage and get ready to dance the night away the the Hold my Beer Band!

If you’ve never visited\, it may help to use your GPS or mapping app.  That being said\, the crowd at the Firehouse really appreciate their music and enjoy dancing and having a good time.  It’s the perfect venue for us! \n\n\n\nThere is a large outdoor area with a covered patio with a pass through for the bartender.  Just mosey up and order your cocktail or beer.  Heck\, maybe a shot!  This patio also serves as a stage for the musicians.  It’s always great having shade in May in Arizona!

Oh yes\, and big screen TV for sporting events.  Last year when we played the Firehouse\, there was a wedding and a state basketball championship game being played.  Needless to say\, the options for entertainment that evening were huge for the small community of Kearney.  We’ve been told by the folks who did attend last year that they will spread the word about the Hold my Beer Band!  I have no doubt we will all have a great time! SUMMARY:The Ore House Hilltop Tavern Halloween Party!
DESCRIPTION:It’s the Spooky month of October and we are only a few days from Halloween when we play the Ore House again on October 26th.  So\, they have decided that evening will be their official Halloween Party!  We don’t know many details as of yet\, but there will be a DJ and the Hold my Beer Band playing music and enjoying the party!  Pull out your favorite Halloween costume and let’s get the dance party started!  By now\, the temperatures should be cooler in the evening\, so whether we setup indoors or outdoors will truly depend on what mama nature has in store for us. If you do drop by the Ore House\, you may want to arrive a bit early because if we do setup indoors\, it can be like a human car wash getting around in that place! Arrive early\, have a bite to eat and your favorite beer\, wine or cocktail and get ready to do some dancing!

This wonderful lounge has a great customer base\, always features live music on the weekends and dancers love it! DESCRIPTION:It’s time for our bi-annual Hold my Beer Band road trip to Jerome and Clarkdale Az!. We make the journey to the Spirit Room to play their World-Famous stage once again! Trust us when we say the Spirit Room doesn’t feature a lot of Country music. We always enjoy the trip via the mogollon rim which totally negates the I-17 freeway north. It is such a beautiful drive and view as you literally drive from desert to mountain forests\, small alpine towns then some red rocks of Sedona appear as you drop down off of the rim into the Verde Valley\, Camp Verde across I-17 towards Cottonwood\, then up the narrow twisting road of 89A and Jerome! \n\n\n\nWe hope you can visit this great little spot on the planet at some point\, if you haven’t already. \n\n\n\n\nRocky\, Ron\, Fred & Frank of the Hold my Beer Band at El Rancho Robles

DESCRIPTION:Our once/month gig at the Ore House Hilltop Tavern in Oracle Az is typically very well attended.  We feel fortunate to have such a dedicated fan-base as well as an awesome venue with great pub food allowing us to whip up the crowd each month.  If you haven’t had the opportunity to visit the Ore House in Oracle\, now is as good a time as any!  It’s the end of September\, so we’re pretty sure we will be playing outside.  Next month\, November may find us sharing the warm interior with the patrons of the Ore House. \n\n\n\nAt any rate\, please arrive a bit early to order some great munchies and combine it with a tap/bottled beer or cocktail and get ready to dance ‘yer butts off!

DESCRIPTION:We have met so many people while playing for the last 2.5 years.  One of these ladies is having a birthday party!  Funny enough\, she attended a birthday party that we were hired for at Porter’s Saloon in Superior!  She calls herself the crazy dancing lady\, but really\, she’s just crazy about dancing.  We are learning a few waltzes as well as some other new material and we’re really looking forward to playing yet another birthday party!  The American Legion is typically members only\, but this young lady is persistent and convinced them to allow her to not only host her birthday party there but open the party up to the public.  Bring your dancing shoes and dance the afternoon away! \n\n\n\nThe American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization. Focusing on service to veterans\, servicemembers and communities\, the Legion evolved from a group of war-weary veterans of World War I into one of the most influential nonprofit groups in the United States. Membership swiftly grew to over 1 million\, and local posts sprang up across the country. Today\, membership stands at over 2.4 million in 14\,000 posts worldwide. The posts are organized into 55 departments: one each for the 50 states\, along with the District of Columbia\, Puerto Rico\, France\, Mexico and the Philippines.

DESCRIPTION:We were invited back to the Hideaway and we’re beyond excited!  One of our super-fans moved to Globe from Oracle Az a few months ago and suggested to the owner of the Hideaway to check out the Hold my Beer Band.  If you’re in the area of Globe or Roosevelt Lake\, drop on by and give us a listen.  Enjoy an appetizer or meal with your favorite drink.  We start early at the Hideaway\, because we’re OLD!  But seriously folks\, we will be playing from 6 – 10 pm on Friday\, August 9th.  Here’s some directions from Globe;Head North on Hwy 188 and stay in the right lane for about 5 miles or so.  That right lane will become a “Turn Only” lane.  Turn right as the lane ends and drive approximately a mile or 2 where you will see the Hideaway\, hidden away on your right.  We hope to see you there!
