DESCRIPTION:You can bet there will be a lot going on during Pioneer Days in Kearny!  From the CopperArea.com website: \nAn artistic map of Kearny\n“Kearny’s 63rd annual Pioneer Days is quickly approaching! It is time to return home for “Rustic Roots and Cowboy Boots.”  The Copper Basin Chamber of Commerce and their partners are bringing back all of your favorite events. \nThe Chamber of Commerce began the festivities this year with a competition. They asked members of the community to submit their ideas for this year’s theme. The winning theme “Rustic Roots and Cowboy Boots” was submitted by Kearny resident Melissa Day. When asked about how she came up with the theme\, Melissa said\, “Being local\, I knew that our Pioneer Days is about our cowboy roots\, even though the holiday is celebrated in other states as a different tradition. Ours is more of a cowboy theme versus Pioneer\, so I thought of the play on words that way. Rustic Roots & Cowboy Boots. Couldn’t be truer for Kearny\, and it’s catchy!” \nWe agree that it’s the perfect theme to represent the Copper Basin Area. \nOther original events such as the Queens Competition\, Roping Tournament\, Softball Tournament and Parade are scheduled this year! A carnival\, provided by Brown’s Entertainment\, will be hosted as well over the four-day event\, in traditional fashion.” \nWe will be playing early on Saturday\, April 18th\, beginning at 1 pm.  There will be a second band\, Highway 260 beginning at 7 pm to keep the music coming at you! \nThere should be more information regarding this event\, soon on the Kearny Chamber of Commerce website.

DESCRIPTION:It’s time to return to Kearney and play the always fun Firehouse Saloon.  If you’ve never visited\, it may help to use your GPS or mapping app.  That being said\, the crowd at the Firehouse really appreciate their music and enjoy dancing and having a good time.  It’s the perfect venue for us! \n\n\n\nThere is a large outdoor area with a covered patio with a pass through for the bartender.  Just mosey up and order your cocktail or beer.  Heck\, maybe a shot!  This patio also serves as a stage for the musicians.  It’s always great having shade in May in Arizona!

DESCRIPTION:We’re on the road again\, this time north to Kearney!  We enjoy playing this great bar with an outdoor venue and stage\, not to mention the outdoor and indoor games and two pool tables.  Oh yes\, and big screen TV for sporting events.  Last year when we played the Firehouse\, there was a wedding and a state basketball championship game being played.  Needless to say\, the options for entertainment that evening were huge for the small community of Kearney.  We’ve been told by the folks who did attend last year that they will spread the word about the Hold my Beer Band!  I have no doubt we will all have a great time!  Mark your calendars and plan a little trip!  This place is fun!

Heck\, Ron was a fireman so we’re excited to play what is probably one of their theme songs!
